Scion has just rolled out its final special edition model for 2009, the xB Release Series 2.0, starting at $14,650 - just $1,270 over the base price.
What you get for that amount is a long list of extras, not to mention Electric Wasabi green paint and the knowledge that only 1,600 such models will be built.
Other highlights include a touch screen 5.8-inch high resolution LCD Pioneer Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) head unit with a flash memory, voice recognition and Bluetooth compatability. It also has USB and SD card connectivity as well as an iPod hookup. And will even play videos from your iPod when parked.
The exterior paint color carries through to the interior with green lighting. There are also "Release Series 2.0" illuminated door sills. Special fabric will be used for the seats and every vehicle will come with a numbered plaque.
Outside, special wheel covers come as a part of the package, while a rear spoiler as a $285 option.
As mentioned, pricing is set at $14,650 for manual transmission models, with auto-tranny xDs fetching $15,450
