Default Help identifying wires under glove box

My headlights would not turn off and for several days, intermittently, and one morning battery was dead. I realized the plastic cover to the wires under glove compartment had fallen off. I jiggled a few of them around and my headlights went off.

How do I diagnose that area of my scion 2006 xa? There are lots of wires there. What is that area referred to? I can't find it in my owners manual. My library has a chiltons for Ford 2006, but not specifically a scion and I put it on hold, hoping it will diagram that area out for me but closest Ford model for that year for manual was Camry.

Any guidance or suggestions are appreciated.
